Legacy Giving

Create your legacy and make an impact that lasts for generations.

Changing a City for Generations

As one of the few programs in the Denver Metro Area that offers a development-based solution to poverty, we want to continue to grow our model that empowers and uplifts the people we serve. The long-term security of an endowment and gift of assets will allow CrossPurpose to sustainably scale impact, bringing families out of poverty in Denver for decades to come.

20 years from now, our goal is to see our endowment fund 50% of annual operations

Grow Your Charitable Legacy

You can do more when you give a gift of assets to CrossPurpose. These types of gifts allow you to ensure your support benefits Leaders and our mission while qualifying for benefits in return. Many gifts of assets allow you to see your giving make an impact today, while others go into effect after your lifetime. From gifts of real estate, Donor Advised Funds, and bequests, we can align your and your family’s heart and values in an intentional way that brings meaning and joy to the legacy you wish to create to benefit the work we do at CrossPurpose.

We warmly welcome those who have informed CrossPurpose of an endowment gift, gift of asset, or future gift as members of the CrossPurpose Give Different Society Circle (2024). As a society member, you join a faithful group of supporters whom we engage in meaningful ways allowing CrossPurpose to provide ongoing appreciation and recognition for your intended gift and encourage and inspire others to consider CrossPurpose in their estate plans. Naming commemorates the significant transformation these gifts will bring about for our city for years to come.

Here are a few, but not limited to, unique ways you can support CrossPurpose:

  • Endowment

  • Bequest Giving – Trusts and Wills

  • Non-Cash Gifts / Assets: Real estate, retirement plans, life insurance, donor advised funds, and closely held stock, business (C-corp, Sub-S, etc.) *A gift of closely held stock requires special handling, so you should always consult with your legal or tax advisor first

  • Named, Endowed Scholarship Funds –  Designed to be permanent and perpetual, an endowed scholarship may be established in your name or in the name of friends or family. Funds are invested in a diversified portfolio, and scholarships are awarded to individual students each academic year.

  • Life Income Gifts: Charitable gift annuities, Charitable remainder trusts, and Charitable lead trusts
