Ken is a Managing Director of Utility Operations at Twenty First Century Utilities (TFC), a Power and Utility investment firm that specializes in acquiring, operating and optimizing moderate-sized regulated utilities. Ken has more than 25 years experience in the utility industry and has served in a variety of senior leadership roles including Vice President, Marketing and Customer Solutions for Xcel Energy. Ken holds a BS in Management from Golden Gate University and an MBA from St. Mary’s College. He is a member of Colorado Community Church, an avid cyclist and resides in Castle Rock, Colorado along with his wife Lucrecia and daughter Anapaula.

Sawyer has a background in Public Relations and Legislative Advocacy and specializes in working with non-profit charter schools. Since moving to Denver in 2017, she has served as a volunteer Ally with CrossPurpose. She holds a degree in Professional Writing from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington and lives in Denver with her husband, Clay.

John currently works as a Coordinator of Strategic Initiatives at Zeppelin Development, a real estate and community developer in Denver, Colorado. Starting as a missionary kid and someone fascinated with “third-cultures”, John studied Community Economic Development at Seattle Pacific University, and has since developed a strength in business operations for the empowerment and enablement of others. He, his wife and two children have served actively at CrossPurpose and Providence Bible Church since 2016.

Tiffany is a Senior Store Manager for FXO, responsible for revenue, profit, growth, expense control, marketing execution and associate development. She has over 15 years of business leadership experience in multiple environments. Tiffany served as Director for Single Mom’s Night Out and as an Ally for Cross Purpose where she also taught classes to incoming Leaders. Tiffany’s leadership and passion for results grants her the ability to give back to the community that once served her.

Faith currently serves as an RN Clinical Coordinator at Lutheran Medical Center. She has her Bachelors of Nursing and is currently pursuing her MSN in Leadership. She was raised in Missouri and came to Denver as a travel nurse in 2006. She has spent the majority of her nursing career caring for heart patients. She has a passion for food as the foundation of good health and empowering others to view food as such. She and her husband have thoroughly enjoyed their experience of being Allies with Cross Purpose.

Jeff and his family have been involved with CrossPurpose since its inception. Jeff and his wife Leslie live with their two boys in Highlands Ranch Colorado. Jeff has a bachelors in business administration and marketing and has owned a small business in Littleton since 2004 while also serving on several non-profit boards. He brings his passion for leadership and people development to the CrossPurpose board and is humbled by the opportunity to serve this amazing organization.

Bill Kurtz is CEO of DSST Public Schools, a charter school management organization that is opening ten secondary schools on five campuses in Denver. He founded the original DSST campus, a leader in STEM education nationwide, with a 100 percent college acceptance rate for graduates over the last 10 years. Bill was recognized as the 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year by the New Schools Venture Fund at their national summit in Washington D.C. He serves on the Advisory Council of the University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education MAT program. Before his career in education, he worked as an investment banker at JP Chase in New York City. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University with a B.A. and earned an M.A. from Columbia University’s Teachers College in educational administration and leadership.
