Our proven framework for poverty alleviation recognizes that the journey from poverty to prosperity has four distinct stages, each with its own challenges requiring different kinds of support. The goal isn’t just to get a job—it’s to climb all the way to the top of the mountain and create change that lasts for generations.
The climb echoes the old proverb of giving a man a fish and teaching him to fish—but then we layer in the idea that you must equip him with a good fishing pole, meaning, a job with a living wage and potential for career growth. The ultimate goal is to own the pond by building wealth through assets like a home or investments.
