CrossPurpose is thrilled to share our second annual Longitudinal Earnings Report, as a member the Wage Outcomes and Results Coalition (WORC), in partnership with the Colorado Evaluation & Action Lab at DU and CEEMI.
This report shows the significant gains in income that Leaders achieve – a 154.5% increase in median earnings a year after employment, rising from $3,764 at program start to $9,577 one year later. Average quarterly earnings nearly doubled, increasing from $4,666 to $9,170 . When annualized, these figures represent a shift from roughly $18,000 to more than $36,000 dollars per year, meaning that graduates are earning a living wage within a year of completing the program. The report also shows that these wages continue to increase in the years following the Leader program.
This independent validation affirms what we see in our classrooms and in the community: participants are gaining the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to thrive in the workforce. As an outcomes-based nonprofit, CrossPurpose focuses on results rather than activities. Every class, coaching session, and partnership is designed to help participants achieve measurable gains in employment, income, and long-term opportunity.
We are deeply grateful to our partners for making this work possible through the use of secure, anonymized wage data. For those interested in diving into the data further, an interactive dashboard is available here.
