Namaste Solar joined the CrossPurpose employer network in October 2024. In these few months, Namaste Solar has been an impactful member, being very intentional about hiring and supporting our Leaders and graduates.
According to Human Resources Coordinator Madison Lozano, their goal in the partnership is to open their job openings to diverse applicants and create a safe space for overlooked demographics.
Madison has found that alumni of CrossPurpose demonstrate a unique drive that sets them apart from others. Our alumni show signs of longevity while others are just looking for the next job. One of the alumni who shows that drive is Sylvia, who has been working at Namaste Solar since July 2024. Sylvia has been a great team player, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Within her first few months of employment, she was entrusted with training new team members!

Sylvia enjoys working at Namaste Solar, finding it even better than she expected. She notes that Namaste Solar emphasizes creating a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone and is employee-owned with very people-centric policies. Sylvia also spoke about the career advancement she has received, including pay raises and being entrusted with leadership roles. “Namaste Solar is an amazing company to be part of. This company really emphasizes creating a friendly and welcoming environment for all types of people, and being employee-owned it has very people-centric policies. Regarding my coworkers, it has been great, I have been part of several different crews now and (I’ve) gotten along well with all of them,” she remarks.
