Learn tangible skills to stand out in the workplace
Get Certified – 1 to 4 Months
Complete a self-paced,nationally recognized online certification course OR offsite pre-apprenticeship program, while receiving support, resources, and additional training from your Career Coach

Apply for jobs, knock out your interviews, and land your first job in your new career field
Age Range: 18-55
To be eligible for admittance into our career program, you will need to be between the ages of 18 and 55
High School Diploma or GED
To be eligible for admittance into our career program, you will need to have a high school diploma or GED
To be eligible for admittance into our career program, you will need to have a stable housing.*
*Stable housing simply means that you must have enough housing stability to know that you’ll have a roof over your head each night
6 Months Sobriety from Hard Drugs
To be eligible for admittance into our career program, you will need to have a minimum of 6 months sobriety from hard drugs (cocaine, heroine, meth, etc.)
CrossPurpose is a drug-free program
Desire to Work Full-Time
To be eligible for admittance into our career program, you must have a desire to work full-time.
Our goal at CrossPurpose is to empower motivated individuals to work in a full-time career. Graduation from our program requires that students are either working or hired to be working full-time.

Complete an Interest Form and RSVP for an upcoming Information Session!

Join us on campus to learn more about our program and decide if it’s the right fit for you!
After an Info Session, you’ll have the opportunity to complete an online application for an upcoming class
You’ll complete 2.5-3.5 hours of professional readiness assessments to finish your admissions profile
5. Pre-Coaching Session
If you’re accepted, the next step will be to complete a pre-coaching session with your career coach
6. 1st day of class
Now you are ready to attend your 1st day of class and start your career journey!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can students work during the program?
Yes, many people work part-time, or even full time while in our program. You just need to be at all classes during weekdays.
Do we offer Childcare?
We offer childcare on Wednesday nights during Family Gatherings, but you’ll need childcare during your weekday classes.
What is our Drug Policy?
We are a drug free program. You will be disqualified if you test positive for any hard drugs. If you test positive for THC (weed) that will NOT disqualify you, but to become employable as possible you will need to agree to stop using Marijuana in our program.
Do you students need to pay back anything?
No! Our scholarships and monthly stipends to you are our gift to you and you don’t need to pay it back. We do this so you can win.
What is the class schedule?
Monday to Wednesday 8:30am to 3:00pm
Wednesday night 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Thursday 8:30am to 1:30pm
Friday OFF for 1st 6 weeks, 8:30am to 1:30pm for remainder
Total of 22 to 26 hours per week of classes/programming
What if I have a felony?
We are a felon friendly program. Your background will not disqualify you from this program with the exception of a sexual offense, as we consistently have kids on our campus.
Why don't we accept individuals over the age of 55?
After more than 6 years providing career and community development training, we’ve found that our program offers the best opportunities for success to individuals within an 18-55 age range. We partner with community organizations and other nonprofits who are better equipped to provide resources and opportunities to individuals over the age of 55.
