We are thrilled to spotlight Christian Living Communities (CLC), a deeply valued member of the CrossPurpose Employer Network since February 2024. As a Colorado-based non-profit organization, CLC has been providing outstanding senior living options and quality care for older adults and their families since 1972, driven by a key focus: helping residents flourish through meaningful relationships in comfortable and enriching surroundings. CLC is a major presence in our community, operating nine locations across Colorado. Their commitment to developing local talent is evident in their active partnership with CrossPurpose, where they consistently show up for our leaders by attending career fairs, participating in mock interview sessions, and leading Employer Engagement Events. Their dedication to our mission is invaluable in creating clear and supportive career pathways for our graduates.

Christian Living Communities is not just a hiring partner; they offer a welcoming and professional environment where new employees can truly build a career. This is powerfully echoed by Laja, a CrossPurpose graduate and current CLC employee: “I highly recommend CLC to future leaders. The environment is very welcoming and productive. All the health care team members work well together to help take care of our residents. And there’s plenty of opportunity to make a good income here. 10/10.” CLC represents the kind of organization that provides critical, fulfilling work with a focus on care, teamwork, and genuine opportunity for advancement—making them an ideal destination for future leaders emerging from the CrossPurpose program.

Kelly Denning, Director of Talent Acquisition for CLC, has truly appreciated the partnership between CrossPurpose and CLC. One thing that Kelly emphasized about the partnership is how CrossPurpose makes things easy for members of the employer network. Whether it is the career fairs, employer engagement events, or mock interviews, Kelly noted that she never has to do extra work, she just has to show up and everything is ready for her.

Kelly also noted the benefit in hiring CrossPurpose leaders and graduates. She explained how leaders could have a bit of an advantage at CLC because of their own life experiences coupled with the services provided to leaders by CrossPurpose like personal development. Leaders could have a slightly better understanding of how to manage conflict and communicate effectively to patients and staff, which is a big focus for CLC right now.

Christian Living Communities (CLC) stands as a shining example of a CrossPurpose Employer Network partner. Their active participation in our events, coupled with the welcoming and professional environment highlighted by graduates like Laja, underscores their value as a premier employer. This partnership is more than just a hiring pipeline; it is an aligned collaboration that strengthens our community, provides essential opportunities for our graduates, and ensures the future of senior living is served by highly capable, purpose-driven leaders.
