Sierra Warren
Vice President of Launch Program
Sierra joined the CrossPurpose team in 2022, bringing over 13 years of Higher Education and community engagement experience. She has a Master of Arts in Educational Administration with an emphasis in Higher Education. She is a fervent leader, teacher and advocate for first-generation minority students. She consistently explores her passion in bridging the gap for these students to help them matriculate throughout their collegiate/career advancement experience successfully and break down generational barriers. Having been raised by a vibrant, Godly, loving single mother, who often worked multiple jobs to provide for her children in the heart of the urban core of Kansas City, Sierra is no stranger to breaking barriers, stereotypes and glass ceilings. Sierra’s priority at CrossPurpose is to serve the Launch program’s Explorers and the Launch coaches by establishing the strategic goals of the program, creating a dynamic online curriculum and experience, and leading the overall vision of Launch.
Sierra and her husband of 15 years, Miguel Warren Jr., have served in various capacities of ministry. In 2019, God called Sierra and her family to Denver, Colorado to serve in ministry. Now her husband serves as lead pastor at Lighthouse Church. They have three amazing children. Sierra’s greatest privilege and joy in life are serving God with the gifts and talents He has bestowed upon her, loving and honoring her husband, and discipling her children. Her hobbies are walking her dog, Mocha Latte Grande Warren, traveling and cooking with her family, singing and dancing to the best of 90’s & 2000’s R&B and Hip Hop, turning up to Christian rap, and cheering on her beloved Kansas City Chiefs.
