Ben Sooy

Ben Sooy joined CrossPurpose in 2026 after more than a decade serving Denver churches and faith-based nonprofits. His passion for helping under-resourced neighbors thrive is shaped both by the Christian vision of justice and restoration, and by his own experience growing up in poverty.

As a Launch Program Coach, Ben walks alongside individuals as they climb from poverty toward prosperity, offering encouragement, accountability, and practical support along the way.

Outside of work, Ben leads worship at his church, fronts the Denver rock band A Place For Owls, and helps lead Holy Fool, a local nonprofit that supports working musicians.
