Jared Saltz

Jared joined CrossPurpose in 2026 after spending time in the corporate world, academia, and ministry. He received his MPhil and PhD from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, and taught and ministered in Tampa, before his path eventually led him to Denver.

As a Grant Writer at CrossPurpose, Jared is responsible for translating the stories of CrossPurpose’s incredible people and mission into compelling proposals for foundations interested in working together to abolish poverty in the Denver metro area. Jared is excited about the opportunity to love the Lord with his heart and soul and mind through acts of research, storytelling, and process development.

When he’s not working, Jared loves to spend time playing games with his wife and two daughters. When not neck-deep in German board games, you might also find him running with his wife, buried in a fantasy series and ancient language tome, or training for a powerlifting PR.
