Teresa Kostenbauer

Teresa Kostenbauer joined the CrossPurpose staff in May 2025 as the Director of Career Advancement after 25 years of leading workforce development, university recruiting, and career coaching strategies across corporate, nonprofit, and higher education sectors.

Her passion for connecting people to purpose and sustainable careers is fulfilled through her role at CrossPurpose, where she and her team build employer partnerships, co-create career pathways, and ensure that every Leader is equipped for meaningful, living-wage work.

A first-generation college graduate, Teresa also serves as a Commissioner for the Colorado Commission on Higher Education and a Trustee for the Intermountain Health Regional Board—roles that strengthen her commitment to equity, opportunity, and systemic change. She was drawn to CrossPurpose for its alignment with her faith, values, and purpose-driven work.

When she’s not working, Teresa enjoys adventure travel, spending time in the mountains, planning community gatherings, and hosting soulful conversations over good food.
