Program Director

CrossPurpose is seeking a full time Program Director to take the lead as we expand to a second location in Englewood.  You will lead our staff and participants as they embark on a six month journey to develop careers, get jobs, and lift their families out of poverty.  You will be the primary teacher of our program, lead our team of coaches and support staff, and be the face of our organization to our participants, partners, and the Englewood community.

We are looking for:

  • Highly relational, high level social ability.
  • Well connected to diverse groups in the Denver metro area.
  • A skilled teacher who can capture the attention of a room.
  • A skilled administrator and team leader.
  • Highly knowledgeable about poverty and how to escape poverty.
  • Highly knowledgeable about and experienced in career coaching and job search skills.
  • Bachelor degree in a related field required, Masters degree preferred.
  • Significant teaching and leadership experience is a must.
  • Actively involved in a biblical Christian church and have a strong pastoral reference.
  • Deep passion for our mission to love our neighbors through career and community development.

CrossPurpose is a Christian faith based nonprofit organization in northeast Denver helping people to move from poverty into living wage careers. While there is no direct religious content in our program and we welcome people of all faiths or no faith into the program, all of our staff must be deeply committed to biblical Christianity and have a passion for social justice. This position does require Wednesday evening hours, and occasional weekends.  The starting pay range is $57,500 – 66,125 per year depending on qualifications, with a potential for a 5% performance bonus, and increasing salary as the size of your program and staff grow. You must live in or very near to Denver, we will not relocate people for this position.  Our benefits package includes health, dental, vision, short and long term disability, vacation, personal days, and sick days.
