Nikki Otaola

Leader Program Coach

Nikki joined the CrossPurpose staff in December 2025 after several years serving diverse and vulnerable communities across Metro Denver. Born into a family of Latinx immigrants, she developed a deep passion for community empowerment, DEI work, and urban leadership development. Her experience includes nonprofit leadership, supporting Spanish-speaking families in local school districts, and training in racial-ethnic identity development. She is also a certified DEI and Organizational Change practitioner through the National EIDA Center.

Nikki’s passion for justice and belonging is lived out in her role as a Leader Program Coach, where she equips Leaders and creates spaces that honor their stories and identities. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Public Relations at Regis University.

When she’s not working or studying, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Colorado with her husband, and performing as a singer/songwriter and spoken word artist, using her platform to uplift and unify BIPOC communities.
